We loved the food, the service and the vibe at Zeroism. We ate lunch here and we were not disappointed! From the extensive menu we ordered the Dalgona whipped coffee and the vegan condensed milk coffee. Both sensational. The almond ricotta cheese & mushrooms on focaccia which was soft, creamy and very tasty and the artichoke cheese baguette which was crunchy and delicious. For dessert we ordered the cheesecake which was not as sweet as it looks, but still quite delicious. We then went back again for breakfast and both ordered the vegan French toast which came with a banana on top with toasted coconut flakes and chocolate syrup. It was so soft and tasty. And then we went back again for lunch to try other items on the menu. So good!

Zeroism Vegan - Café & Sourdough Bakery - Vegan restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City
About This Place
Zeroism operates on a straightforward premise: the entire menu is plant-based, and the kitchen treats that as license to be ambitious rather than safe. The sourdough program is the anchor — focaccia arrives properly oiled and dimpled, and the pesto pizza draws the kind of loyalty that has regulars returning across a year without tiring of it. Several reviewers single it out as the best vegan pizza they have found in Ho Chi Minh City, a claim the kitchen earns through fresh ingredients and confident seasoning rather than approximation.
The vegan cheesecake has developed its own following, praised specifically as genuinely satisfying rather than a dietary compromise. Jackfruit bánh mì and strong Vietnamese coffee keep the menu grounded in local formats alongside the Western café staples, giving the place range across a day that runs from 8 AM through 9:30 PM.
The room on Nguyễn Cừ is compact — tables are small and set close together, and a thread of incense runs through the air, a sensory detail that distinguishes it from the stripped-back minimalism of newer Thao Dien openings. One reviewer found the combination limiting for longer stays; a separate reviewer came back almost every day for weeks. The physical space is not suited to lingering over a laptop, but it handles a steady volume of diners across a full daily schedule.
What sustains a 4.6 across more than 460 reviews is substantially the floor team. Multiple visitors across different periods mention the staff by instinct — unhurried, genuinely warm, the kind of consistency that converts first-time visitors into regulars. Pricing sits above the neighborhood average for a casual lunch, a trade-off most reviewers consider fair given the kitchen's output. For anyone spending time in Thao Dien and eating plant-based, this address surfaces quickly for good reason.

Reviews
Dishes were nicely presented and tasted absolutely fresh and nice. The summer rolls were extremely lovely and filling. Everything inside went well together. The cocoa smoothie was so good we finished in 1 go 🤭 Highly recommend this place 💕
The food is delicious it’s vegetarian but not boring at all. I especially liked the potato-based dishes. The space is a bit small, and since I arrived quite late, many dessert options were already sold out
A literal hidden Vegan gem as this place is tucked away in a bit far from HCM city center! This place is 100% vegan/plant-based. Food is Western-inspired, but definitely adjusted to discerning Asian palates. I've been to this place 3 times now & have tried almost everything on the menu except the pizzas (only offered on weekends). There wasn't any dish that I didn't like & I'm a bit of a food snob (my siblings & I inherited this from our mom who is an outstanding cook). Everything was carefully, hygenically, & lovingly prepared (that was what I felt). The actual food looked exactly like the menu pics, sometimes even better. The attention for detail was immaculate & that is what differentiates good from truly great food. Food looked & tasted great!
Their brown rice dish with betel leaves is very good, a perfect sized dish for lunch. Definitely reccomended, I will be back for more. Update: The brown rice with garlic mushroom is also amazing, kinda spicy for a breakfast/lunch meal, but highly reccomended when you need to clear out that Saigon-pollution from your system!
