Wanted to try banh mi chao and came here. There are only 2 options of banh mi chao and I ordered the beef set. The sliced beef is tender and fresh. The bread is cprisy and good too. As it is a cafe, you also enjoy air-conditioning in this hot weather.
The banh mi is honestly really delicious—well-seasoned and made with fresh ingredients, so it’s very satisfying. However, there’s one big downside: the place is extremely hot. Sitting there feels like you’re sweating buckets, especially at noon. There is air conditioning, but it’s not enough, so after a while it feels stuffy and uncomfortable. Even one of the female staff members mentioned that the shop is just too hot. Overall, the food is worth it, but the environment really needs improvement.

I was really looking forward to a good Banh Mi, but this was very disappointing. The bread was soggy from so much sauce, completely losing the crispiness that makes a Banh Mi enjoyable. The flavors were bland, the meat was dry, and the pickled vegetables — usually the highlight — were lifeless. This is nowhere near a traditional Banh Mi. For the price, I expected authentic flavor and quality, but sadly, I won’t be coming back.
They used to be my fave Bahn Mi spot in Thao Dien but they have failed - I asked for more Mayo in my Pate and they didnt even ADD any, not once - but TWICE! then i ordered two bahn mi combos and didn't get those Milk cartons - but we weren't bothered with complaining - its most incredible how the price was about 30 - 33 for Bahn Mis and it felt like great and fair value and now the same bahn mi thit is 41! that is a 20% price increase and ive only lived here 11 months! will it be 50K by 2021?? Greedy.
