Good food, generous portions, and a cozy atmosphere. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. the overall experience was great. A nice bonus is that they provide coloring pencils and paper for kids, which makes it very family-friendly.

this is among the best italian food i have ever tried. the dishes are amazing and the service is top notch. every single server is so knowledgeable it feels like each of them is a sommelier on their own right. my only critique is the decor choice. the table and chair designs make the space look like a generic wedding venue. the execution here is way more sophisticated than the environment suggests

Pendolasco in Thao Dien has a nice atmosphere and the food quality is generally good, especially the pasta and grilled dishes. The ingredients feel fresh and the presentation is appealing. However, some dishes were a bit too salty, which made the flavors less balanced than expected. The service was acceptable, but the staff did not feel genuinely warm or proactive in assisting guests. It felt more functional than welcoming. Another point is the bread selection. Some of the bread served did not feel like authentic Italian bread, but more similar to Vietnamese bánh mì style bread, which slightly reduced the Italian dining experience. Also, the back dining area can become quite stuffy, and the air conditioning there does not seem strong enough, especially during warmer evenings in Saigon.

I came to this restaurant because of its reputation as the place that serves the best pizza in Ho Chi Minh City. And honestly, it lives up to the hype. However, personally, I would call it one of the best pizza restaurants in HCMC rather than the absolute best. The pizza was excellent. The crust was crispy, the size was very generous, and the toppings were abundant. What impressed me even more was the price – it is surprisingly affordable for the quality and portion you get. The staff were professional and friendly. One detail I truly appreciated was how generously they poured the wine. I’ve noticed that many restaurants in Vietnam, even fine dining venues and five-star hotels, sometimes underpour wine. But here they filled the glass properly, which was a very nice touch. That said, the other dishes besides pizza were not particularly memorable. The veal with sauce was just average and the meat was slightly dry. The pasta was also a bit bland. Overall, I would definitely recommend coming here specifically for the pizza.
